Boat #230756, that originally was decorated at Eckstein Middle School in Seattle, Washington was found in Iceland on July 3, 2025 by Karina Strømmen while out biking near her family farm.

Gudrun Emilsdottir reported boat 230580 from the beach in northern Iceland on June 20, 2025. The boat was decorated by Le Commandant Charcot cruise ship passengers and was deployed by August 2, 2023 at the North Pole.

Michael Birkner reported a found boat in north east Iceland in the Langanes area. This boat, # 232220 was originally decorated in December 2023 by a participant in Polar Science Day at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle, Washington USA. It was then deployed via the Le Commandant Charcot on August 31, 2023 at the North Pole.

German Family Finds Seattle Boat in Rifstangi, Iceland

A small wooden boat decorated by University of Washington's Aquatics and Fisheries Sciences department during a 2023 open house community event was found and reported in Rifstangi, which is at the northernmost point of Iceland. It was deployed at the North Pole alongside its parent buoy by the Le Commandant Charcot on August 17, 2023 and drifted on the Track Taken North Atlantic Subpolar Gyre through Fram Strait south to Iceland.

Found Boat After Surfing Near Sandvik Beach, Iceland

Andrzej Wroz was on the Sandvik Beach on the Southern Peninsula in Iceland after a surf session on April 25 and noticed a small wooden boat. This was boat 234202 that was originally decorated by students of teacher Adam Smith at Hood River Middle School in Hood River, Oregon USA during the 2022-2023 school year. The boat was discovered and reported a week earlier on the same Sandvik Beach by Sif Hjaltdal Pálsdóttir. Sif left it behind and Andrzej found it again.

Boulder Boat Found in Akranes á Mýrum Iceland

Guðmundur Örn Sverrisson discovered a small wooden boat in Akranes á Mýrum, Iceland on March 16, 2025. Akranes is a port town and municipality on the west coast of Iceland, around 50 km north of the capital Reykjavík. The area where Akranes is located was settled in the 9th century; however, it did not receive a municipal charter until 1942. This boat, # 232396 was originally decorated in Boulder, Colorado at Centennial Middle School with teacher Bill Schmoker during the 2022
