Vacationers Find Boat in Grettislaug, Hvammur, Iceland

Boat #230429, that originally was decorated in Seattle, Washington was found in Iceland on May 18, 2025 by Sarah Deglau. She says: “We found the boat on a walk along the beach during our wonderful vacation in Iceland and were delighted to be part of this exciting project. I wonder how many kilometers the boat has covered? Great action! Best regards from a couple from Hamburg, Germany.” 


The boat was decorated in 2023 by then 6th grader Daeus Lance Pineiro-Lewis from Jeff Westmoreland class at Eckstein Middle School in Seattle, Washington.
