Three Boats Found at Once in Northern Iceland

Three boats were found on the beach in Reykir - Grettislaug Iceland on June 12, 2024 by Armin Hollerbach. Two of the boats (#232215 and # 232197) were originally decorated by Pacific Science Center Polar Weekend participants in Seattle, Washington and one (#230396) was decorated by Eckstein Middle School student, Ava Mae Christoffersen, also in Seattle. This boat was found and reported three days earlier by Anett and Beat Rohrer.

The boats were deployed by Le Commandant Charcot passenger ice breaker ship in August of 2023. Boats #232215 and # 232197 on August 17 and #230396 on August 2nd.
