Boat #234542 was found and reported by Saveria Nicolas in late Febrary 2025 at the Djupalonssandur beach just before a storm, in Snaefellsjökull, Snaefellsjökull National Park, Iceland.

This boat was decorated by middle school girl, Saniyah in Mr. Kelsey’s sixth grade science class at Northern Middle School in Owings, Maryland in 2023.

Saveria reported: “I was with my sister and my parents on this splendid lava sand beach watching the huge waves before a storm and we found the boat on the top of the beach. As we are Corsican, we brought the boat to Corsica and we would like to throw it into the Mediterranean Sea.”

The coordinators of Float Your Boat are not sure what would happen if Saveria tosses into the Mediterranean; perhaps it would follow the currents and be found by another beachcomber. Tracking the boat and its story would be rocky at best.
